Mamdani’s Mom is in the files!
In a twist of fate, it seems like the newly elected mayor’s mother is in the Epstein Files. All over social media, people are going absolutely crazed about Zohran Mamdani’s mom, Mira Nair being mentioned multiple times in the Epstein Files. According to right wing influencers, this is what’s shutting up all those damn liberals. Source: Trust them bro. I’m not a liberal or a leftist or anything of the sort, but have you seen those files? Super damning that she had attended a party with a bunch of celebrities.
Honestly, it is weird that she was named, but each time it was either a flyer or by Peggy Siegal and it seemed to be something to do with an independent filmmaker thing. Her most damning crime is apparently being at an afterparty. If anything, I’m more upset because I thought Zohran Mamdani was more relatable. I’m glad he’s trying to make a lot of changes for the common working class in New York City, but he was always at least upper middle class? His mother is a millionaire!
The most conflicting thing about Mira Nair being in the files is that it shows me I have some growing up to do, so here we go. Zohran Mamdani is not the poor-to-power story I had thought he was. Instead, he’s a rich person helping the poor. Which is also really honorable and makes me realize that there are people in power who are helping the working class. Meaning if a millionaire has the power to help, then maybe so do billionaires? Apparently, money doesn’t inherently make you evil. It’s just that more evil people have money than good people? Why is that?
Don’t get me wrong, when it comes to money, I see why it’s advantageous to be politically conservative. And I’m not going to say people like Elon Musk is evil just because he has money and is also in the files. My opinion of him being evil has more to do with the fact that when the United Nations’ World Food Programme found a way to help Elon Musk solve world hunger, nothing happened. Also that Tesla Cybertrucks aren’t covered by warranty if you go through a car wash. But please remember, there are a lot of other billionaires in the Epstein Files who are evil incarnate. So let’s talk about it.
Not mentioning anyone by name, but we’ve seen certain people are in the files more often than Jesus Christ is mentioned in the bible. We’ve also seen that yes, it is both sides of the political spectrum at play. Ever heard about the illusion of choice and it’s two doors that lead to the same room? Really puts 2016 in perspective, doesn’t it? Those emails? ANYWAY!
The point is that this is what people who have power are capable of. As a people, we cannot stand or allow people like this to come to power. Or continue having power since they probably have it already. We’ve heard everything about these files, from them being the key evidence we needed to stop what is probably one of humanity’s worst crimes of nature, apparently not existing, to it being a hoax, to now we have them, and we’re still pointing fingers at red versus blue? I hate to be that guy, but at this point I’d rather have a drag queen and a gun in every school than have the off chance they might be eaten somewhere in Florida, my home state. And just to own the libs another time, I’d rather gun safety classes than drag queens in elementary.
My primary stance will always be, I don’t care about politics when it comes to children. Please read that as many times as you need to. Children should not be a consideration; they should be the point. Every child in the United States of America should be going to sleep knowing they’re going to wake up safe tomorrow. And when I say child, I mean every child, regardless of age. Yes, I acknowledge there is a difference between a 5 year old and a 15 year old. The difference is that the 15 year old is more likely to be trafficked or abused. So when I say, regardless of age, I don’t mean we stop protecting children as soon as they turn 13 or even 18. We’re talking about the next generation each time we bring up children. We’re talking about future leaders, doctors, and servicemembers, and we’re wasting time debating whether they should be fed in school or not. The answer is yes. We can sit and debate about whether or not SNAP should exist after we make sure every child in our country isn’t facing food insecurity. Because while some people believe the existence of obese children means that the kids are well off, about 1 in 5 children face food insecurity in the United States of America and this might be the first time people read the word food insecurity on a screen.
So we know my stance. My question is what’s going to happen next? Children were more than harmed. We know that. There are people mentioned doing horrendous stuff, by multiple people, multiple times. We know that. If it were a one-time mention, or if it was only one person bringing this person up, I’d understand the reason for doubt. But we know there are a lot of powerful actors mentioned hundreds or thousands of times doing something horrible. We know there are still a lot of redactions where we don’t know the names yet. This isn’t about what team are you on anymore, it’s about do you actually care about the children? Do you actually have any morals? Are the Christian crusader people going to crusade? What about the revolution people who spray paint fists everywhere? Is our law enforcement going to enforce our law? Is our Department of Justice going to serve justice?
I know I can’t do much. In fact, all I’m doing is typing some words on a screen like any other keyboard warrior. And I have a feeling that not much is going to happen to these people. But I do want to offer a solution if I ever became any type of governmental entity that had any control over the outcome. I would introduce a bill, “No Penny Saved on Children’s Justice”. If it ever became plausible that there were multiple children abused, harmed, or trafficked by an organization or entity, we would make that one of our country’s top priorities. Anytime there are more than ten possible victims, with at least five of them showing strong possible suspicion, it would be dually investigated by both the FBI and local law enforcement. No candidate that is part of the investigation can be elected until their name is cleared by local law enforcement, the FBI, and the DOJ. If they’re already elected or in power, they cannot interfere with the investigation in any way, including influencing public opinion about it. If they’re part of law enforcement, the FBI, or the DOJ, then they are temporarily relieved of all duties until proven innocent, no matter how long that investigation takes. If needed, the nation will spare no expense in utilizing other investigative agencies. If the investigation comes back with more than an 80% possibility, the accused should temporarily resign from their position to serve in court for trials, and the investigation and trials should then be made public. And I don’t mean just for political candidates, but also any leader of any trafficking ring in our country. Their punishment should instill the fear of God Himself Almighty in anyone thinking about harming a hair on any American child.
I personally believe not being able to protect our own children makes us look weak as a nation. Every child should be cared for, because these children are the future. They are our most vulnerable group. They can’t even consent to their living conditions, let alone anything that monsters do to them. And no, children are not mature for their age, they’re children. Until we make their livelihoods our number one priority, we will always be a second place nation in a world where we lead the way.
